Saint-Jeannet (Alpes-Maritimes)

Saint- Jeannet is a commune with 3783 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Alpes- Maritimes ( Provence- Alpes -Cote d' Azur). The inhabitants are known as " Saint- Jeannois " means.

Geography

Saint- Jeannet is located inland about twenty kilometers from Nice on a caused by scree deposits terrace at the foot of the Baou de Saint- Jeannet ( 800 m), a spectacular limestone spur, which attracts hikers and climbers and a remarkable view of the Mediterranean, the Esterel mountains as well as the French and Italian Alps. The surroundings of the town is dominated by vineyards.
