Saint John Sea Dogs

The Saint John Sea Dogs are a professional Canadian Junior Hockey team from Saint John in the Province of New Brunswick, which plays in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League. Play their home games in the franchise from the Harbour Station.

History

In the fall of 2005, the Sea Dogs were founded after the Saint John Flames had left the American Hockey League and thus a gap in hockey was created in Saint John, which could be closed with a new junior team. NHL Entry Draft 2011, five players of the team were selected in total, of which Jonathan Huberdeau third overall position, Nathan Beaulieu ( 17 ) and Zack Phillips ( 28 ) three players were selected in the first round.

The ensuing season 2011/12 was also crowned with success, the Sea Dogs finished the regular season for the third time in a row as a point best team in the league and were therefore the first team in the league history, which the Trophée Jean Rougeau for the third time in a row won.
