Geography

Saint -Marcel- lès- Valence is located in the mouth level of Isère in the Rhone, about 5 km north-east of Valence and about 12 km southwest of Romans- sur -Isère (in straight line ). The municipality is located in the catchment area of ​​the population of the department capital Valence, which has about 120,000 inhabitants.
