Saint-Mard (Somme)
Saint- Mard is a northern French village with 197 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011) in the department of Somme in the Picardie region. The municipality is located in the arrondissement of Montdidier, is part of the Communauté de communes du Grand Roye Roye, in the canton.
Geography
The church in the countryside Santerre is about 3 km west of Roye. The municipality is crossed by the Autoroute A1 and high-speed rail route of the LGV Nord. In the north of the municipality is the wetland in the Marais de Saint- Mard.
History
The municipality received the Croix de guerre as a distinction from 1914 to 1918.
