Saint-Pierre-de-Plesguen
Saint- Pierre -de- Plesguen ( Breton Sant -per- Plewenn ) is a commune in the department of Ille -et -Vilaine in the Brittany region. The municipality has 2690 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011) and an area of 29.49 km ². In Saint- Pierre -de- Plesguen the writers Hughes Felicite Robert de Lamennais lived ( 1782-1854 ).
Attractions
Other attractions in the community is one of the church Saint- Pierre -Saint -Firmin from the 15th - 16th Century. Also considered to be worth the post office from 1800 in which Napoleon III. and his wife in the year 1858 were guests. The Castle Le château du Rouvre was first mentioned in 1381. It was destroyed at the end of the 16th century and rebuilt in the 18th century.
