Saint-Sébastien-sur-Loire

Saint- Sébastien- sur -Loire is a commune with 25 293 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011 ) in the department of Loire -Atlantique in the Pays de la Loire. It is situated immediately southeast of Nantes on the left bank of the Loire River, 380 km west of the capital, Paris.

The place is known by General Pierre Cambronne. The name refers to the Saint Sebastian. As part of the closing ranks of European countries Saint- Sébastien- sur -Loire has several twinning with Germany ( Glindemann ), Hungary ( Kaposvar ) and Wales.
