The University of North Saint Thomas Aquinas (Spanish: Universidad del Norte Santo Tomás de Aquino " ), short UNSTA, is a Catholic university with its headquarters in San Miguel de Tucuman in the Argentine province of Tucumán.

1949 were offered in thomasianischer philosophy in the convent of Santo Domingo first training courses. In 1956, the Instituto Universitario Santo Tomás de Aquino ( iusta ) was founded, which was 1959, the HC Académico de la Universidad de Católica de Córdoba assumed. On 6 August 1965, the present Universidad del Norte Santo Tomás de Aquino ( UNSTA ) was founded.

The university is the order of the Dominicans. Current Chancellor ( Chancellor ) is Pablo C. Sicouly OP.
