Sainte-Croix-aux-Mines
Sainte -Croix -aux -Mines ( German Saint Cross in Lebertal ) is a commune with 1962 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Haut-Rhin in the Alsace region.
It lies on the Liepvrette whose valley is now called because of the mining past Val d 'Argent ( Silbertal ). As the neighboring communities Lièpvre ( downstream ), Sainte -Marie- aux- Mines ( upstream ) and Rombach- le-Franc is a member of the Association of Municipalities Communauté de communes du Val d' Argent. The municipality is part of the Regional Natural Park of Ballons des Vosges.
