Sainte-Gemmes-d'Andigné

Sainte- Gemmes - d'Andigné is a commune with 1486 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Maine -et -Loire in the Pays de la Loire. It belongs to the district Segre and Segre Canton.

Geography

The municipality is situated approximately 75 kilometers north-east of Nantes and about the same distance south-east of Rennes. Neighboring municipalities are:

  • Segre in the north,
  • La Chapelle- sur- Oudon in the east,
  • Marans in the southeast,
  • Chazé -sur- Argos in the south,
  • Loiré in the southwest,
  • Le Bourg- d'Iré in the west and
  • Nyoiseau in the northwest.

The municipality is crossed by the river Verzée, in from the south joins the Argos.
