Sakarya River

The Sakarya ( Turkish Sakarya Nehri; Σαγγάριος Greek, Latin Sangarius ) is a river in Turkey. He is after Kızılırmak and Yeşilırmak the third longest river in the country.

The length of the Sakarya is 824 km. Its catchment area is 53,800 km ². It rises in the province of Afyon and only flows towards the Central Anatolia.
