The Sakarya University (Turkish: Sakarya Üniversitesi ) is a public university in the Turkish province of Sakarya capital. It was founded in 1970 as the College of Engineering and Architecture ( Sakarya Mühendislik ve Mimarlık Yüksekokulu ). In 1971, the name change to the "State Academy of Engineering and Architecture in Sakarya " was ( Sakarya Devlet ve Mühendislik Mimarlık Akademisi ).
