Sakis Rouvas
Anastasios " Sakis " Rouvas ( born January 5, 1972, Corfu, Greek Σάκης Ρουβάς ) is a Greek singer.
Life
In the Olympic sport of pole vault, he was inducted into the national selection of Greece. The career as an athlete, he gave up in favor of the artistic.
With his partner Katia Zygouli he has a daughter and a son.
Sakis Rouvas the Euro Vision Song Contest
Rouvas reached the Euro Vision Song Contest 2004 with his song Shake it! third place and moderated the Euro Vision Song Contest 2006 in Athens, after Elena Paparizou won the contest last year. In 2009 he represented his country again at Euro Vision Song Contest 2009 in Moscow with the pop song This Is Our Night, where he finished seventh place in the victory of the Norwegian Alexander Rybak.
