Sakuragawa, Ibaraki

Sakuragawa (Japanese桜 川 市, -shi) is a city in Ibaraki prefecture on Honshu, the main island of Japan.

Sakuragawa is known for its many Stonemason.

Geography

The town lies north of Mount Tsukuba river of the same Sakuragawa.

History

The city was founded on 1 October 2005 and consists of the two communities Iwase and Makabe, as well as the village of Yamato.

Traffic

Sakuragawa is located on the National Road 50 between Chikusei and Mito.

Sakuragawa 's train ride away, about 80 km from Tōkyō and accessible by the JR Mito line. Breakpoints of the web from Oyama are coming Yamato, Iwase and Haguro.
