Sala Baganza

Sala Baganza is a municipality with 5531 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the Province of Parma in the Emilia-Romagna region and is 90 km northwest of Bologna and twelve kilometers southwest of Parma. An attraction of the place is the 1454 -built castle of the Sanvitale family that can be visited.

The city is home base and global companies, such as the fashion company Coccinelle and packaging specialists Berchi and procomac. Furthermore, around 30 companies in the meat industry, especially producers of Parma ham and salami are located.
