Saladin Said
Salah El Din Ahmed Said ( born October 29, 1988 in Asosa ) is an Ethiopian football players.
Career
Association
Said began his career in the youth from the Ethiopian club Muger Cement until he moved to the first team of Saint- George SA 2007. Already in his first season 2007/ 08 he was top scorer with 21 goals in 17 games. In the 2008 /09 season he was voted the best player in the league.
In 2010, he completed a trial with Serbian club FK Partizan Belgrade, but in the end came no obligation. He then coached at Premier League rivals FK Vojvodina Novi Sad, Vojvodina, but also did not oblige Said. When Kagame Inter- Club Cup 2011, he scored against the Djiboutian club AS Port five goals in a 7-0 victory.
On October 9, he joined the Egyptian club Wadi Degla FC which 2.04 million Birr ( about 240,000 U.S. dollars) paid for Said. This was the highest amount ever paid for an Ethiopian soccer players. His league debut, he played but only on January 15, 2012, compared Tala'ea El- Gaish SC. On January 27, 2013 Lierse SK announced the commitment of Saladin Said. Lierse is also conducted by the Egyptian Holding Company WadiDegla. In his fifth league game for Lierse on May 4 in the game against KV Kortrijk he achieved his first goal for his new employers.
National
His senior international debut Said completed on 1 June 2007 against the DR Congo, where he also scored his first international goal the same with the crucial 1-0 hits. On 5 June 2011, he met the qualifying match for the African Cup in 2012 against Nigeria (2-2 ) as well as twice the qualifying match for the FIFA World Cup in 2014 against Central Africa.
