Salah Tarif

Salach tariff (Arabic: صالح طريف; Hebrew סאלח טריף but also צאלח טריף; born February 9, 1954 in Tschulis ) is a former politician.

Description

Tariff is an Israeli Druze and was ( in Hebrew ג'וּלִס Arab جولس ) born in Tschulis, a Druze village in northern Israel. He was active as a paratrooper and a tank driver in the IDF. Tariff was Knesset member from 1992 to 2006. Helping he was in the 12, 13, 14, 15 and in the 16th Parliament Knesset, so from 1992 to 1999 for the Avodah, 1999-2001 for Jisra'el agate, 2001-2003 for the Avoda, 2005-2006 for the Avodah. When he was appointed Minister without Portfolio by Ariel Sharon in 2001, he was the first non-Jewish Israeli government minister.
