Salar de Talar
The Salar de Aguas Calientes III, in its southern part as Salar de Talar referred, or also known as Salar de Purisunchi, is a salt marsh in the Atacama Desert in northern Chile. It is nestled about 55 km south of the oasis Socaire in the municipality of San Pedro de Atacama in the high - Puna east from the volcano Caichinque.
The Salar de Aguas Calientes III is the sink of an endorheic drainage basin of 501 square kilometers with 13 tributaries. He has a total area of 46 km ² with an open water area of 2.5 km ².
