Salon of Colombian Artists
The Salón de Artistas Colombianos ( German: Salon of Colombian Artists ) is a cultural event in Colombia with a long range. It takes place every year between 5 August and 12 September and has two main categories: a national event and regional competitions.
For the first time the Salón 1931 took place under the presidency of Enrique Olaya Herrera, whose administration wanted to create a public gallery. 1931 the event was held at the Parque de la Independencia in Bogota instead.
