Salza di Pinerolo
Salza di Pinerolo ( Piedmontese Sansa, Occitan salso ) is an alpine village with 75 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the Italian province of Turin (TO ), Region Piedmont. It is located in the Cozie Alps near the border with France.
The community is a member of the mountain area community Comunità Montana Valli Chisone e Germanasca.
The place is located in the Valle Germanasca at an altitude of 1245 m above sea level. The municipality covers an area of 15.44 km ².
Germanasca is a side valley of the Val Cluson and one of the three Waldensian valleys, where the Calvinist lay movement of the Waldenses had their retreat.
