Sam Bush

Sam Bush ( born April 13, 1952 in Bowling Green (Kentucky) ) is an American bluegrass musician. Sam Bush plays mandolin, fiddle, guitar, banjo and sings. From 1971 to 1989 he was one of the co-founders of band New Grass Revival on. Published in 1985 Sam Bush his first solo album. He is one of the world's best mandolin player and is regarded as one of the founders of the Telluride Bluegrass Festival, which takes place annually in June since 1973 in Telluride ( Colorado). Due to his annual appearance there is also called " King of Telluride " Sam Bush in the bluegrass scene. Sam Bush plays a modified Gibson F-5 mandolin from 1937, called " Hoss ".
