Sam Neill
Nigel John Dermot Samuel "Sam" Neill ( DCNZM, OBE, born 14 September 1947 in Omagh, Northern Ireland) is a New Zealand actor.
Life and work
Born the son of a military family in Northern Ireland, who retired to New Zealand in 1954, Neill attended regular schools and the University, where he earned a degree in English literature. He began early to work as an actor, and was National Film Unit for six years for the Zealand as a director and screenwriter. He was made by films such as The Piano ( 1993) and Jurassic Park ( 1993).
Neill has a son named Tim with fellow actress Lisa Harrow, a daughter named Elena with his wife Noriko Watanabe and a stepdaughter named Maiko. Since 1993 he is the owner of the Two Paddocks Ltd. , His small, in Otago (New Zealand) based family-owned company that manufactures wines.
His avowed favorite movie is Notorious by Alfred Hitchcock.
His German dubbing voice comes mainly from Wolfgang Condrus.
