Sam Taylor (director)
Sam Taylor ( born August 13, 1895 in New York; † March 6, 1958 in Santa Monica ) was an American film director, screenwriter and producer. He is best known for his work with the comedian Harold Lloyd. In addition, he directed one of the last films of Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy Director (Nothing But Trouble, 1944).
Harry and Michael Medved, author of the book " Golden Turkey Award" Taylor recognized a " distinction" to the Worst Credit Line of All Time ( The stupidest mention in the credits of all time ) for "by William Shakespeare with additional dialogue by Sam Taylor " ( "by William Shakespeare with additional dialogue by Sam Taylor " ) in the film The taming of the Shrew. However, it can not locate a copy of the film that contains this line of text.
