Sam Warburton

Sam Warburton ( born October 5, 1988 in Cardiff ) is a Welsh rugby union player who is used to the position of winger. He plays for the Cardiff Blues.

Warburton started his career at the Glamorgan Wanderers. In 2007 he was voted the best player in the Welsh Premier Division. As captain of the Welsh U-19 national team he reached the semifinals of the World Cup this age group in the same year. Since 2008 he plays for the Blues, with which he could win the EDF Energy Cup and penetrated into the semi-finals of the Heineken Cup. In June 2009, he came to his debut for the Men's National Team against the United States.
