Sam Webster (cyclist)

Sam Webster (* July 16, 1991 in Auckland ) is a New Zealand racing cyclist and three-time world junior champion.

2007 Sam Webster took first place in the team sprint at the Junior Championships at the rail of Oceania, with Sam Steele and Ethan Mitchell.

In the Junior Track World Championships 2009 in Moscow Webster won three titles: the Sprint, Keirin and the team sprint, along with Mitchell and Cameron Karwowski. In the UCI Track World Championships 2010 in Copenhagen, he finished in the team sprint with Edward Dawkins and Adam Stewart the fifth and sixth place in the Keirin. In the same year he won the silver medal in the team sprint at the Commonwealth Games. In 2011 he won at the Oceanic Championships two gold medals in the sprint and the team sprint ( with Mitchell and Simon van Velthooven ).

In the UCI Track World Championships 2013 in Minsk Webster was together with Ethan Mitchell and Edward Dawkins vice-champion in the team sprint.
