Samantha Mumba
Samantha Anne Cecilia Mumba Tamania ( born January 18, 1983 in Drumcondra, Dublin) is an Irish actress, singer and model.
Biography
Samantha Mumba was born in 1983 at Dublin, the daughter of an Irish Aer Lingus stewardess and an aviation technician from Zambia. Your school days she spent at the Billie Barry Stage School in Dublin.
In 1998 she was cast for the lead role in The Hot Mikado, a jazz interpretation of Gilbert and Sullivan's opera. Mumba had her debut in 2000 and has since emerged from teen to international stardom. With their hit " Gotta Tell You" and the album of the same name, it reached in 2001, not only in her native Ireland, but worldwide high rankings on the music charts and reached its publications multi-platinum status. Their hits and albums received multiple awards. She also works as a fashion model and appeared in reality shows as well as with in Hollywood productions.
In March 2007, which caused over the Scottish Broadcasting by the reigning "Miss Scotland " Nicola McLean common Samantha Mumbas comparison with a monkey for excitement. McLean apologized several times and cleaned out that this statement had racial significance as it was initially placed under her. Mumba is National Ambassador for UNICEF Ireland.
