Sammamish is located east of Seattle, right on Lake Sammamish, in King County, Washington, United States. The settlement became in 1999 the statute of a City. In the census of 2000, Sammamish had 34 104 inhabitants.

Geography

The village is located along the shoreline and on the hills east of Lake Sammamish and the city area include additional lakes, of which Beaver Lake and Pine Lake are the largest. North of Sammamish Redmond located adjacent and south of Issaquah.

History
