Sammy Adjei

Sammy Adjei (born 1 September 1980) is a former Ghanaian football player at the position of the goalkeeper.

Adjei joined in 2005 by Hearts of Oak SC for $ 150,000 by Israel to FC Ashdod. After three years in Israel, he returned to Ghana in summer 2008. Since then, he is in Accra Hearts of Oak under contract. On July 15, 2013, was set by Hearts of Oak SC on the transfer list and optional on 16 July 2013 his contract. He ended his active career in consequence of the dismissal.

He was goalkeeper of Ghana's national team until 2006, but was then put into the second term, since it caused by small lapses of concentration too many goals. Adjei participated in the 2006 FIFA World Cup in Germany part, but without being used.
