Sammy McIlroy

Samuel " Sammy" McIlroy Baxter ( born August 2, 1954 in Belfast ) is a former Northern Irish football player. With the Northern Ireland national team, he participated in the 1982 and 1986 at the FIFA World Cup finals.

Playing career

Manchester United (1971-1982)

Sammy McIlroy made ​​his debut for Manchester United in the Football League First Division 1971/72, scoring four goals in his debut season in 16 league games. Coaching career

Sammy McIlroy started his work as a trainer in 1992 as player-coach at unterklassigen club Northwich Victoria.
