Samois-sur-Seine

Samois -sur -Seine is a municipality with 2100 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Seine- et- Marne in the Ile- de -France region of France. It lies between Melun and Fontainebleau, about 60 kilometers south of Paris. It is known as Location of many writers, the Festival Django Reinhardt held annually among them Victor Hugo and Georges Simenon as well as the place of death of jazz musician Django Reinhardt, in his honor.
