Samstagern

Saturday is a village in the municipality Richterswil in Switzerland.

Geography

The village is separated by the A3 motorway from Richterswil. Its population is 3'025 inhabitants (as at 31 December 2012), with an upward trend. Saturday is a village street. In Samstagern there are also some farms, mainly located on the outskirts of the village. The remaining houses are invested in settlements, for example Grüenfeld, Haslenzopf, Zopfschmitten, Bärenbrüggli and Ribelrain.

Traffic

Saturday is very well connected to the transport network. The South Eastern Railway (SOB ) runs regularly to Einsiedeln, Wädenswil (S13 ) and Pfäffikon ( -Rapperswil SG) ( S40). Morning and evening trains to operate single Arth -Goldau and novel horn. Buses run to Pfäffikon ( causeway center ) and after Richterswil. The latter is used to a large part of students.

School

There are in Samstagern only a primary school, the new school building was completed in late 2005. The higher levels of education are visited in Richterswil.

Catholic church

The groundbreaking ceremony took place March 13, 2011 at the Sunday.
