Technology
Display
As is common with most Android smartphones, the device has a capacitive screen is operated by. The display has a diagonal of 8.89 cm (3.5 inches) at a resolution of 320 × 480 pixels. It is executed in the TFT color display technology.
Camera
The Ace has a rear camera with 5 MP resolution. It also has an LED camera flash. A front camera is not installed. The camera has an auto focus and takes photos in the format of 2560 × 1920 pixels. Videos are saved in a resolution of 176 × 144, 320 × 240 or 640 × 480 pixels. The camera also has a smile and face detection, the location determination by (A ) GPS for recording location of the photo is possible. A hardware button to trigger does not have the Ace, however. The contrast and brightness can be adjusted in the camera menu. Among other things, the camera supports a 2 times digital zoom in the Samsung Galaxy Ace.
Processor
Installed in normal Galaxy Ace a Qualcomm MSM7227 processor with a Adreno 200 GPU. The processor is a processor ARMv6.
For Samsung Galaxy Ace, there is an abundance of custom ROMs. A custom ROM is a modified Android, and thus, the Galaxy Ace is supported unofficially up to Android version 4.3.

In addition to the Ace ( GT -S 5830 ), there is the Ace I ( GT -S 5830i ), the Ace Duos with dual SIM function and the successor models Ace Plus, Ace Ace 2 and 3
Ace I
The Samsung Galaxy Ace I have a 32 MHz faster processor than the "normal Ace". Since it has a different graphics card and another processor can no custom ROMs, which are intended for the Ace ( without i ) run on it.
Ace DUOS
The Ace DUOS has a dual SIM feature and thus is more suitable for business people, use the two SIMs. It is the technical level a mixture of i and Ace Ace Plus. The RAM is 512 MB. The internal memory is greater (512 MB) as the Galaxy Ace.
Ace Plus
The Ace Plus ( GT -S 7500) has a 1000 MHz processor and 512 MB RAM. For this, the Ace Plus has a larger internal memory, which includes 3 GB.
Ace 2
The Ace 2 has a larger internal ( approximately 2.1 GB) and RAM ( 768 MB). There is also a variant, which is equipped with NFC. It has a dual-core processor with 800 MHz clock rate per core.
Ace 3
Published in October 2013 by Samsung, the Ace 3 is a middle class smartphone with a 1.2 GHz dual -core processor with 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal memory which is expandable via microSD. It has LTE, NFC and WiFi Direct, and is equipped with Samsung 's TouchWiz interface. Its operating system is Android 4.2.2.
