The Samsung i8910 HD is a smartphone from the South Korean manufacturer Samsung. Since February 2009, the Samsung i8910 HD is available on the German market. It is sometimes referred to by the press as the Omnia HD, but not by Samsung itself, as Omnia is only available for devices based on Windows.

The Samsung i8910 HD runs on the basis of the operating system Symbian S60 5th Edition ( Symbian ^ 1 also called ). Operation is via a capacitive " AMOLED " touch screen with a resolution of 360 × 640 pixels. With a screen size of 3.7 inches or 9.4 cm Samsung supplied at time of publishing the biggest screen in this technology. The smartphone has an 8 - megapixel camera and can be used as the first phone HD videos with a resolution of 1280 × 720 pixels record (720p, 24 frames / sec. ).

Technically connection offers the smartphone Wi -Fi with DLNA, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, a standard microUSB port, a 3.5mm audio jack and TV-out. The built-in GPS receiver with A - GPS is used by the optional Samsung Mobile Navigator software (Route 66).
