Samuel H. Cassidy

Samuel H. Cassidy ( born January 16, 1950 in Shreveport, Louisiana) is an American politician. In 1994 and 1995 he was Deputy Governor of the State of Colorado.

Career

Samuel Cassidy studied at the University of Oklahoma and the University of Tulsa. He studied law and became a lawyer. Politically, he joined the Democratic Party. Between 1991 and 1994 he sat in the Senate from Colorado, where he spent two years leading the democratic faction.

In 1993, Cassidy was appointed Lieutenant Governor of Colorado on the side of Roy Romer. This post he held zwischen 1994 and 1995. Yet he was assistant to the governor. Between 1998 and 2000 he was CEO of the Colorado Association of Commerce and Industry. He then taught at the University of Denver trays law and ethics. He also practiced as a lawyer.
