Samuel Piette (soccer)

Samuel "Sam" Piette (born 12 November 1994 Repentigny, Quebec ) is a Canadian soccer player.

Career

Piette was only decided at age 14 to the football career after he had previously played in various hockey as a junior.

In the club

In 2007, he began his career at the ARS Lanaudiere and changed in the spring of 2008 to FC Boisbriand. After Piette had developed in Quebec to the performers and played in a number of youth - provincial representative teams, he got in May 2009, an invitation to a trial with former French second division club FC Metz. He signed a youth contract in the summer of 2009 at FC Metz and played the 2009/10 season for the U -17 of the Association.

In June 2012, Piette got an invitation to trial with Fortuna Dusseldorf and then moved to the German Bundesliga. There he stood in the 2012/13 season in the squad of A- Youth ( U -19). In addition, already came two appearances in the second team before he became the 2013/14 season integral part of the Regional team. On April 4, 2014, he came to his first race in the 2nd Bundesliga, when he came off the bench in the 2-1 in the away game at SC Paderborn 07 for Erwin Hoffer.

National

Piette played in his youth for the U -17 and once for the U -23 Select a country Canada. He participated for the U -17 Canada at the U-17 World Cup 2011 in Mexico, but survived with the team not the first round. In 2012 he played in the qualifying return match for the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, but could not qualify with the team.

He became the top performers of the U -17 and was appointed for the first time in the national team of Canada in February 2012, but did not in the friendly against Armenia for use. National coach Stephen Hart called Piette again in June and he came 3 June 2012 on his senior international debut for Canada against the U.S. soccer team at the BMO Field.

In July 2013 he was part of the Canadian national team, which participated in the 2013 CONCACAF Gold Cup.
