Samuele Longo

Samuele Longo ( born January 12, 1992 Valdobbiadene ) is an Italian football player who is under contract with Inter Milan, but is currently playing on loan at Rayo Vallecano.

Club career

Longo began his career at FBC Treviso, before he moved to Inter Milan in 2009. At Inter he was first employed as a junior player and borrowed for each half a season to the Series B club Piacenza Calcio and to the Serie A team Genoa. In Genoa he brought it even only on inserts as a junior player, yet the Genoese secured half of the transfer rights to the young striker.

After his return to Milan he was initially reinstated in the offspring of the Nerazzurri ( Primavera ) and was an important part of the team, which the NextGen Series, was a European Cup for youth teams win. Longo was in this tournament the top scorer of his team. In the 2012/13 season Longo moved on loan to Spanish side Espanyol. Already in his first game for Espanyol he could score his first goal with a volley against Levante UD.

For the 2013/14 season Longo returned to Italy, where he was loaned to Serie A climber Hellas Verona. In Hellas Longo but was used only very rarely, and therefore he moved after half a year in Verona on loan to Spanish club Rayo Vallecano.
