Samuli Aro

Samuli Aro ( born April 12, 1975 in Järvenpää, Finland) is a Finnish motorcycle athlete and five -time world champion in enduro racing.

Samuli Aro started to go first motocross race in 1989. In the Finnish Motocross Championships 1996, he was third in the class up to 250 cc, and won the 1999 Finnish enduro championship in the class up to 125 cc.

After he was ³ third at the 2001 World Enduro Championship in the class up to 250 cm, he won four world titles in the following years.

His title he won on the following brands (class):

  • 2002 Husqvarna (250 2T)
  • 2004 KTM (E3 )
  • 2005 KTM (E2 )
  • 2006 KTM (E2 )
  • 2008 KTM (E3 )

With the Finnish national team, he won five times at the International Six Day Trial, the Trophy (1999, 2002-2004 and 2006) and two times the total rating of its individual driver class. He currently competes for KTM Enduro Factory Farioli.

Samuli Aro is married and has a son.
