San Carlos, Falkland Islands

The settlement of San Carlos is located in the south of the bay of San Carlos Water on East Falkland. The place got its name from the Spanish ship San Carlos, the 1768 was at anchor.

As part of the operation Sutton ended up in the place that was given the code name " Blue Beach ", a large part of the British units that fought during the Falklands War on West Falkland. Today, a museum and a military cemetery commemorate the landing of the British.

San Carlos is called after the former owner Jack Boner as " JB ".
