San Diego River

The San Diego River is a 52 km long river in San Diego County in California. It rises northwest of Julian in the Cuyamaca Mountains and then flows south-west to the El Capitan Reservoir. He leaves the reservoir again and passes through the towns and villages west of Santee and San Diego. In this way it flows through the Mission Trails Regional Park, one of the largest urban parks in the United States. Finally it flows near the Mission Bay in the Pacific. The main tributaries are the Boulder Creek, Cedar Creek, the Chocolate Creek, the Conejos Creek, the Forester Creek, the Los Coches Creek and San Vicente Creek.
