History

San Isidro was from 1850 to 1917 the seat of the provincial government of the province of Nueva Ecija. 1896 found a place " secret march " of the revolutionaries of Cabiao to San Isidro to attack the Spanish province of government. The Philippine revolutionaries went Victorious clear from this attack. This event is now considered Unang Sigaw ng Nueva Ecija ( " First call of Nueva Ecija " ) known.

1899 San Isidro briefly the seat of the revolution congress during the first Philippine Republic, during the government of Emilio Aguinaldo resided in Cabanatuan after Malolos and Calumpit was conquered in the province of Bulacan from the Americans. The Wright Institute in San Isidro, which was founded in 1903, was one of the first high school start-ups outside of Metro Manila during the American rule.
