San Javier Department, Santa Fe

The Departamento San Javier is located in the eastern part of the province of Santa Fe in the center of Argentina and is one of 19 administrative units in the province.

It is bordered to the north by the Department of General Obligado, in the east, separated by the Paraná River, in the provinces of Corrientes and Entre Ríos, the south by the Departamento Garay and to the west by the departments Vera and San Justo.

The capital of the department of San Javier is the eponymous San Javier.
