San Javier (Murcia)

San Javier is a municipality in the autonomous region of Murcia in Spain. It is located 33 km southeast of Murcia. The Autopista AP -7 bypasses San Javier west.

On 1 January 2013 lived 32,786 inhabitants in an area of 75.10 km ².

The Murcia- San Javier (Spanish Aeropuerto de Murcia- San Javier), an international airport and a base Aérea de San Javier the Spanish Air Force in the southeast of the Iberian Peninsula, located in the district of Santiago de la Ribera directly on the Mar Menor lagoon of Mediterranean.
