San Juan River (Colorado River)

The San Juan River [ Saen hwɑn ] is a tributary of the Colorado River, which flows through the U.S. states of Utah, New Mexico and Colorado. It is 644 km long and runs in the southwestern United States. It rises in the San Juan Mountains in southern Colorado and flows into Lake Powell.

Most interesting for tourists point is the Goosenecks State Park, where the San Juan River has dug in wide loops deep into the rock.
