San Martino Buon Albergo
San Martino Buon Albergo is a northern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 14,491 inhabitants (as of 31 December 2012) in the Province of Verona in the Veneto region. The community is located about 9 kilometers east of Verona and about 40 km west of Vicenza.
History
As a San Martino the place is called the first time in 1146. Already 489 Theodoric the Great had let rest before the battles against Odoacer outside Verona between San Martino and San Michele his army.
Traffic
By San Martino Buon Albergo leads the Strada Statale 11 Padana Superiore (SR 11). From here there is also connection to the A4 motorway from Turin to Trieste. The station of the municipality lies on the railway line Milan - Venice.
