San Miguel is an Argentine city in the metropolitan area of the capital city Buenos Aires, the Buenos Aires.

The city is located about 30 kilometers north- west of the center of Buenos Aires, is the capital of the Partido San Miguel, which, according to the census of 2001 had 253 086 inhabitants. This was until the 1990s the center of the district of General Sarmiento, but which was then divided into San Miguel, José C. Paz and Malvinas Argentinas.
