San Pietro Infine

San Pietro Infine is an Italian municipality ( comune ) with 929 inhabitants (as at 31 December 2012) in the province of Caserta in Campania. It is part of the Comunità Montana Monte Santa Croce. The municipality is situated approximately 52 kilometers north- west of Caserta and directly borders the provinces of Frosinone ( Lazio ) and Isernia ( Molise ).

History

During the 4th and 3rd century BC the Samnites Osker and settled in the area until the Roman colonization in the second Samnite war reached the area.
