San Salvador Department, Entre RÃos
The department of San Salvador ( Entre Ríos ) is located in the northeast of the province of Entre Ríos in the center of Argentina and is one of 17 administrative units in the province.

According to estimates by the INDEC, the population increased from 16,118 inhabitants (2001) to 18,000 inhabitants in 2009.
