San Vito al Torre
San Vito al Torre ( in furlanischen dialect: San vit de Tôr ) is a Northeast Italian municipality ( comune ) with 1312 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the province of Udine in Friuli Venezia Giulia. The municipality is situated approximately 21.5 kilometers south-southeast of Udine at Torre and directly borders the province of Gorizia.
History
The community was until the end of World War I part of the county of Gorizia and Gradisca, where she was placed under the jurisdiction Cervignano, which in turn was part of the district Monfalcone.
