Sancy (Meurthe-et-Moselle)

Sancy is a commune with 353 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Meurthe -et -Moselle in the Lorraine region; it belongs to Briey arrondissement and canton of Audun- le-Roman.

Geography

Sancy is located 13 kilometers north of Briey and about 20 kilometers west of Thionville at the edge of the Moselle department. The municipality consists of the parts of the municipality Sancy skin on a long mountain ridge and Sancy Bas and the hamlets Bazon Ville and La Gare.

Neighboring communities of Sancy Beuvillers in the north, Boulange in the northeast, Fontoy in the east, Lommerange the southeast, Trieux in the south, southwest, and Anderny in Audun- le-Roman in the northwest.
