Sand River (Free State)

The sand (English: Sand River, Afrikaans: Sandri Four ) is a river in South Africa's Free State Province. It is a tributary of the Vet, which is a tributary of the Vaal, which in turn flows into the Oranje.

The sand originates northwest of Ficksburg in the Witte Bergen near the border with Lesotho. From there it flows northward to the north of Sandspruit Senekal to flow after the confluence westward.
