Sandared

Sandared is a place ( tätort ) in the municipality of Borås and is located about ten kilometers outside the city center of Borås. The place in the Swedish province of Västra Götaland County and the historic province of Västergötland is known for its sports clubs Sandareds IF ( football) and Sandareds TK ( tennis).

In Sandared is a primary school and a secondary school, a library, a swimming pool, a bank, a daycare center and a sports hall. Sandared is located on Viaredssjön and there is in place a variety of beaches.
